What compliance means here
A rule like HIPAA, or the FTC Safeguards Rule for a CPA firm, or CJIS for an agency, comes down to a few things: know where the sensitive information is, control who can reach it, keep the records you are required to keep, and be able to prove all of it. That is what Security + Compliance does, for everyone on your plan.
What is in it
- Your records. Kept as long as the rules require, findable when a lawyer or an auditor asks, and held when a matter is open.
- Your data. Sensitive files labeled automatically and protected wherever they go, with alerts when someone moves data they should not.
- Your defenses, upgraded. Every computer gets protection that investigates an attack and undoes it. Risky sign-ins are stopped even with the right password. Admin rights are given only when needed, and reviewed.
- Your proof. An audit trail and reporting mapped to the frameworks you answer to, and policy templates and audit preparation when the date is on the calendar.

We are SOC 2 compliant. For our clients we work to HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA, the FTC Safeguards Rule, IRS Publication 4557, CJIS, and Florida's FIPA. A formal assessment against a framework is a project, quoted separately. The controls themselves are in the plan.
