Cyber insurance requirements

The renewal asks for things nobody can show. We answer the questionnaire with you, and the answers are true.

Cyber insurance requirements in Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Miami.

What the questionnaire asks

Every cyber insurance application asks the same things now. Is every account protected with a second step at sign-in. Is every computer watched for attacks, by people, around the clock. Are backups separate from the systems they protect, and have you tested a restore. Are your people trained. Is email checked before it is opened. Are admin rights limited.

For a Concierge IT client the honest answer to each is yes, because each one is part of Complete. For a business that has never been asked before, the questionnaire is often the first time anyone has looked.

What we do

  • Fill it in with you. Your Concierge Lead sits with you and the application and answers each question with what is actually in place, with the evidence behind it.
  • Close the gaps first. If something is not in place, we say so, fix it, and then answer. A wrong answer on an application is worse than a late one.
  • Keep the record. When the carrier, the auditor, or a client asks a year later, the proof is there.

If you are not a client yet

A renewal with a deadline is the most common reason a business calls us for the first time. Reach out, and a real person will walk you through what the application needs and what it would take.

Questions people ask

Plain answers.

Can you fill out our cyber insurance application?

Yes, with you. Your Concierge Lead sits with you and the application and answers each question with what is actually in place, with the evidence behind it.

What if we cannot answer yes to a question on the application?

Protected Trust says so, fixes it, and then answers. A wrong answer on a cyber insurance application is worse than a late one, because it can void the policy on the day you need it.

Will this lower our cyber insurance premium?

Often. Carriers price on the controls the application asks about, and for a Concierge IT client the answers are yes because the controls are already running. Nobody can promise a number; your broker can quote one.

We are not a client and the renewal is due in two weeks. Can you help?

Reach out. A real person at Protected Trust will walk you through what the application needs, what it would take, and honestly what can be done by the deadline.
